Can one live well and love well in a time of war? The Immediate Theater Compan yaddresses these themes in Beaumont & Fletcher's The Maid¹s Tragedy, a dark comedy of manners firmly set in a world of intrigue, sex, power and high fashion. Originally written in 1611, this exciting new adaptation by director Jose Zayas is quite possibly the first time the play has been performed in front of New York audiences. Previews begin June 12th and performances run through June 29th. A limited engagement, scheduled performances run as follows:
June 12th- June 15th continuing June 16th, June 18th -June 20th and June 21st and 22nd continuing June 25th - June 29th with a special matinee closing performance on June 29th at 2pm. All other performances begin at 8:30pm. Featured cast members include Jennifer Boutell, Lea Coco, Corey Moosa, Victor Quinaz and Eve Reinhardt.

Performances of The Maid¹s Tragedy will be held at HERE Arts Center located on 145 Avenue of the Americas between Spring & Broome Streets. Subway; take the E or C trains to Spring Street to get to HERE. Tickets cost $15 or $12 for students with valid I.D.
