Born 1978 in Israel, Kfir Bolotin started out as a travel photographer documenting destinations and cultures throughout the world. During his six-year stay in Scotland, and between trips abroad, Bolotin documented the performances of the Edinburgh Festivals, and quickly specialized in shooting dance, theatre and music concerts, while photographing internationally renowned artists and performers. His work has been published worldwide in newspapers and magazines including Time Magazine, The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, and The Daily Mail, among others. Bolotin holds a Bachelor of Art in Photography and Film (with distinction) from Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland and currently resides in Tel Aviv.

"Dance is a magical art, performing in a language above and beyond the physical capabilities of its audience, thus captivating them, enriching and uplifting viewers to a parallel existence of fairytale and fantasy. "
