Mario’s Stare

Griselda Steiner

From the Original Screenplay "daVinci's New World Order"

Mario Donnato daVinci is a mafia don who through a series of political accidents becomes President of the United States. A karate expert, he doesn't carry a gun or cell phone. To eliminate a lot of conversation when Mario debates other candidates, his stare brings them down before they can speak.

Your stare could melt the devil's tail

Turn his horns to salt

That rip out his eyes

An assassin with no weapon

Mano a Mano

Made man with no gun

Faster than a sniper’s bullet

Sharp as a shark's tooth

As Ninja footsteps in the night

Stalk an enemy's dream

Your stare could down a tyrant

Bring down a dynasty

A false presidency

To turn the page of history

A sudden laser siren

Singing sax - riffing

Scrolling secrets in the air

To stop the arbitrary rudeness of malefic stars

Your stare could cast a shadow on the darkest soul.
